just a quick note;
Like I said back on Sept 20th, a simple answer would have been fine.
But NOOOOOO......you could not answer the stupid question laid out before you, you call me rude!
no I don't think so, with your responses, belittling, snippets, condescending tones, stupid pictures, crass jokes, gutter humor...no .....you people are the jerks, yes now I WILL be RUDE.
I have posted a real question to this board wanting to get a real answer and all I got for my trouble is ****. only one person gave me a truthful answer. so this is for all you idiots who have your god complex and I'm better than you attitudes.
. . . much complaining deleted . . .
I gave you a real answer. You're confusing dive flags with tank markings.
There are two recognized flags that signify a recreational "diver below". AFAIK, flying a modified version (different colors/design/etc.) does not meet the requirements and in some areas would get you a ticket and/or fine.
You might sell a few stickers as tank decorations, however nobody will know what they mean, and they're not useful for indicating content, since almost nobody dives exactly the same mix every time. Actually, the DIR guys might dive the same mix all the time, but they won't use your sticker anyway.
And just to toss another wrench in, color differences aren't visible underwater.
So . . . .
If you want to sell colored dive flag stickers, feel free, but trying to make them mean anything is going to be an up-hill battle, and actual flags would just be looking for trouble.
I just mark my tanks white 2" tape and a sharpie, with "MOD nnn" and indicate the max depth.
