well that just goes to show you that people on this thread can not figure anything out.
Sooo...let me spell it out in plan English with all the bells and whistles so the baby's can understand it..Oh and by the way DennisW did answer my question...THANK YOU!!
Barring any other BS you want to read into this, this is what it is.
1. A flag that is Red w/ Diagonal white stripe / top left to bottom right = Diver Down..USA..we can make a logical jump that the diver/s are using AIR
2. A flag that is blue-and-white swallow-tailed = the International Code of Signals has established it to mean: "I have a diver down; keep well clear at slow speed." once more we can make the logical jump that since it is international gas type is irrelevant.
3. Now since someone / somebody / some organization created a flag that is lime green w/ Diagonal yellow stripe / top left to bottom right = Diver Down..USA..we are told it to mean Nitrox, I really do not care if it is being flown at dive sites or not, if you use it or not, if you acknowledge it as a flag or not!! that's not in question. but what is is the fact that we do have a nitrox flag! bitch and argue all you want but that fact is true.
4. now here we go, just for the baby's..we can breath basically from three forms of gas...(keyword here (basically)) O / N / He. and this is what we call in the diving world as a trimix blended gas. and as DennisW has stated no one has come up with a color whether in the form of a sticker, patch or even a flag!
Now as I stated before "I really do not care if you would fly it at dive sites or not, if you would use it or not, if you acknowledge it as a flag or not!! that's not in question. but what is is the fact that we do have a nitrox flag! and someone will make a trimix flag soon. bitch and argue all you want but that fact is true.
