When are we going to go diving? Are you going to be at training this thur? I will be there with bells on and "fire" hose in hand :) It will be great diving together again.

I don't think it will be this week. I can tell already I'm not up to make a dive in the near future. I've been doing well and then just went back a few steps over the past couple of days.

This sucks:(

I had a 10 day run where the arm didn’t give me any problems. Then on April 30 it started aching again with Thursday being worse and Friday just sucked. We dove shallow Saturday and it swelled up and turned beat red again with an upset stomach to boot.

Once I got out things calmed down and I got back to somewhat normal. Then today I go to the doc and whine a bit. He’s sending me to another nero specialist and they are talking nerve block on the arm. NOT until I get more info on it.

I whine some more about going back to full duty. I’m in Civil now and life is much easier up there, besides I’m getting tired of being the OB. He releases me on one condition. That I go to the range and shoot to see if my arm can take it.

I fly back to the office, get a couple of targets, 80 rounds of 45 and head for the range. I get signed in and go to lane 1 where I fire 40 rounds with each arm. 39 head shots and one to the groin. I just need to do that. I call the doc and say I’m ok and there were no changes in the aching.

So HE FAXED MY RELEASE TO FULL DUTY PAPERWORK TO THE OFFICE.

This wouldn’t have happened if I was still in patrol but at least I’m FREE, out of the Hen House and no longer the OB.

Yahoooooooooo:monkeydan
