I am new to gas planning and am unable to find a way for my computer to recommend required gas volume. I do not see anywhere on this new computer, or my Descent Mk3i, to input RMV and have the computer recommend the required volume of gas for the dive plan generated. Looking at the Garmin manuals, I don't see any reference to volumetric planning at all. am I blind?
Planned gas volume based on RMV seems pretty critical to have and I'd prefer to have my computer do it for the dive it plans, instead of me having to math to calculate my gas requirements based off what a computer is already calculating. Looking around, it seems this is something Shearwater has in their computers.
