Are these new uploads or existing pictures?

I checked in the file structure for one of my previous tests. Only the thumbnail had been created. Now, multiple files are there.

After creating the album, how can I move the existing pictures to the album?
Do I have to upload the same pictures to the album again?

you should be able to

view the photo (single photo view, not the gallery view) -> Edit Photo -> move it to your specified gallery.
