G250v Colored Covers

I have been looking in the forums and I can't find this bit of information.
I have an SP G250v (primary) and a G250HP (backup).

I'm not tech, but I like the concept of the longer hose for backup and bungee around the neck so I dive like that.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a yellow cover for the G250v so that there is no confusion?

I dive with a buddy that knows that, but just in case I prefer to be safe.

So? Anyone knows if there are any SP covers? (Please, none of those funky covers from the 80's SP made for the G250HP)

I bet the yellow cover for the R190 would work fine on the old G250, not sure about the G250hp. Then again, the fact that one's on a bungie necklace ought to clear up any confusion!

I wonder what happens if a panicked buddy yank hard on an octo that's around the neck of a donor; is it similar to hanging?

no, but the one around the neck is on a really short hose, so that would be less than successful.

yes, they make colored g250 covers, but you're going to donate the one in your mouth, so make sure you've thought through what color you want it to be. mine are both the same, though that's the paint-splatter-look 'hotcovers' from the 80s.

Ya I tought about painting it, but most of my experiences with plastic paint was bad. I think I'll go with the colored hose and that's it. Most people would get it. I hope.

Anyhow I was think of going 5ft instead of 7ft, the MiFlex I have is just plain annoying it, floats and it just doesn't stay as snugly in place as a rubber one.

I just serviced a 250 with one of those covers that looked like Miami Vice ate a tie-dye shirt and barfed it up.

Hideous.

My opinion, YMMV.
