Sadly the Scubapro G2 manual doesn't include much useful information on the compass. The Scubapro YouTube video on the topic is not much use either, simply repeating the few steps from the manual. One critical thing that is missing is the significance of the various symbols. This is what I got from the very responsive Scubapro support so far:

"marks that appear on the compass card, once a bearing has been set, are the symbols for: T=a 90° course, Δ= a 120° course, and U=indicates you are on a reciprocal course. The reciprocal symbol is present whether or not a bearing has been set"

Not rocket science but useful for people looking for it...and should be in the manual...
