Just got an email from someone there. $5 ramp fee still applies but who cares? Looks like my scallopin' isn't over yet

Sadly, folks don't stop getting sick or injured on holidays. I'm working a 16 hr shift (yuck). 12-31-03 is possible though.

no can do.. will be in Ct. with family.. keep us posted on when going though. Those few days with calm seas, no winds, sun and temps above freezing are great winter diving days.

Well, the lobsters did not show up the way I had hoped but the scallops were there instead. Not much surge, 1' waves, vis was 2' at best with it getting down to 8" at times. 41° at depth of 23 feet. Two 45 min dives.
Here comes the "bleah" part. I had sorta hoped for bugs so I opted to do a shore dive. Loooooong, slooooow surface swims with packed catch bags suck away my energy.
Oh well, anytime I come home safely is a good day. Anytime I come with meat to share is a bonus

The last time I was there (two weekends ago) there was no one in the booth collecting fees.
