I saw the forecast for RI last weekend and we decided to try something new. From our starting point in New haven, Cape Ann is only an extra ~30-45 minutes drive. It worked out great. Traffic wasn’t at all bad either direction visibility was a 20’+. The temp was down to the mid 50F’s. We had two really nice dives of 53 and 61 minutes. Plenty to see and a ice change of scenery.

This is the only thing I edited so far.

I had a good dive this morning Ft Wetherill with a new buddy: viz 6-8 feet, ok, still water no surge, no waves and I saw a really nice skate or Ray with a tail like a double sided serrated knife,

Be careful there are torpedo rays there touching one can be a shocking experience. Even getting too close can get you zapped.

Steve Irwin sadly showed what rays can do. Definitely on my no touch list.

Just got back from Nubble Light. Fantastic. A little crowded though. There were 26 divers from our group alone, plus lots of others. You needed a traffic cop at the entry points. Water was 51 to 49 degrees from the surface down to 50'. Very pleasant.
