Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm off to the Caribbean in April for a spot of diving and will be taking my full face mask.

Has anyone had any resistance (for want of a better word) from dive companies when using a FFM?

Many thanks

While diving with Dressel Paraiso Beach in Mexico September 2016 there was a young guy diving with a FFM. Nobody seemed to be fussed about it. He also used it on a couple of cenote dives.

I emailed the dive sites I'm using and they say they are happy for us to use them so all good there!

My wife dives with a FFM and she took hers last year to both Dominican Republic and Tobago and there was no issue. We have our own equipment so her reg set was setup for it so we didn't need to ask the shops to alter their rental equipment. Not sure if that would be an issue
