At about 1pm. Low tide. Entered left side. Out to the point. There were lobsters within the rocks. They looked "legal" to me but then again, everything looks bigger.
At one point I saw 39* on my computer. But I also saw 49*. I'll go with the latter temp. ....70 minute dive and not cold=not in the 30's. Viz was between 7 and 12 feet.
plenty of skates, anemones, some starfish, tautogs.
I saw a lobster pot with a lobster, a skate, and 2 tautogs in it. Blew my mind. Kinda wanted to free the tautogs and skate but I never mess with unabandoned pots. Do the lobstermen also want the fish?
Anyway, came out at the boat ramp. Not much to see in the right cove.
It was good first dive. Was checking my equipment service and drysuit repair.
 
From reading lobsterman's pages I think they take the fish and larger skates home for dinner. I suppose it depends on the lobsterman.
