Just went out for about half an hour solo to test out my drysuit. Seemed like it was low tide at the time. Some wind but not much. Light sprinkling and over cast conditions. Air temp 38 water temp 43. No water movement, semi decent viz at first about 8ft or so but I stirred up some crap. Max depth about fifteen feet.

On a side note, the drysuit works great! Refurbed xcd2 with a new tizip, new boots and wrist seals. Just used some cold weather gear I had around the house and it works great, even when wet. Two base layers and a fleece top, didn't even realize I had a leak. Ninety percent sure it came from me trying to empty the drysuit of air entirely while on the bottom. I'm still trying to get used to a neoprene suit vs trilam and how it handles differently. Auto exhaust valves are weird.... I'm used to manual dumps.

All in all a good day! Just need to get the weighting down next.

Thanks for the report. Hard core. This time of year my gear is stored away and I spend the winter skiing. Should be back in the water in the late Spring.
