Hi all,
I actually posted similarly a few weeks ago, but my trip to Fort Lauderdale FL is coming up and I'm still looking for suggestions for specific places/charters that are friendly for NEW divers as well as snorkelers. My mom will be with me and if possible she'd like to go to a place that has a single charter that takes out snorkelers as well as divers (she says she did this in the keys...are there any in Ft L?). Note that I am a new diver and would be alone diving, so put with a random buddy, and would like a dive shop that is willing to work with a new diver and help me out a bit. I do understand everything and all, but am just a bit nervous as it will be my first dive without my typical dive buddy from home.

So, I am specifically looking for newbie friendly dive shops and charters in Fort Lauderdale that may take out both divers and snorkelers. We do not want to travel far from the area if possible.

You guys helped me out a lot already with my previous post, so I thank you and look forward to hearing some helpful tips!

Go see Sea Experience, they meet all the requirements you've asked for, and then some.
