Did a recreational dive for a change. Chirs Horgan and I did a diev off fort adams Sat. Vis was very good. 15+' down to 40 ' just a tad under 10'vis down to 77 feet.

We hit the water about 10 minutes before slack high tide so we had and awesome 40 minute dive straight off the beach to a depth of 77 feet with next to no cross current to fight. Current started picking up near the end of the dive as the tide was beginning to ebb. Had a bottom temp of 62 degrees at 77'

Saw 6 huge blackfish at about the 60 foot mark. they were hanging out around an abandoned lobster trap. The trap was thoroughly coated will some barnales and some cold water sponge growth. Saw very few skates for this time of year. and saw some good sized flounder as well as some that were so small they probably just shifted from being bilateral swimmer to flats.
