Great story! Way to go, Rooster, Rooster's wife and Jim! My husband and I traveled 5+ hours to take AOW from Jim last year and we sure learned a lot and grew up as divers that weekend.

The furthest I've had students travel for training was from south carolina. Took them about 8 hours drive time. Brought three very well behaved dogs with them as well. My cats were thrilled. :-) to have them there and quite surprised by it as well.
I'm fortunate to have many decent lodging options available to traveling students within 15-20 minutes of me.

Jim, we have just 1 well-behaved dog and she is cat-friendly. Can we bring her next time we travel to you for training? :D
