Great story! Way to go, Rooster, Rooster's wife and Jim! My husband and I traveled 5+ hours to take AOW from Jim last year and we sure learned a lot and grew up as divers that weekend.

The furthest I've had students travel for training was from south carolina. Took them about 8 hours drive time. Brought three very well behaved dogs with them as well. My cats were thrilled. to have them there and quite surprised by it as well.
I'm fortunate to have many decent lodging options available to traveling students within 15-20 minutes of me.

Jim, we have just 1 well-behaved dog and she is cat-friendly. Can we bring her next time we travel to you for training?

A diver diving with us was from Hamilton...

Hamilton is about 400km (or 4 hrs driving time) closer to Canonsburg, PA than where I live! Google maps says I'm looking at 10 hours of driving, LOL!
