I live in the States. In a part of the country with not so great diving, but with plenty of quarries, some nice spring fed lakes, and big cold Lake Superior and it's ship wrecks. At some of the dive shops they sell Fish Cards, these plastic fish identification cards that you can take underwater while diving. Only thing is that they are all made for the holiday diver off to warm water desitination, and none that show the fish of these cold local lakes. My buddies who fished when they were kids have little or no problem identifing the different fish, but personally I don't know the difference between a perch and a bluegill, or a lake trout and a bass (the pike and eelpout are pretty obvious). Does anyone know if anyone makes fish idenfication cards for North American cold fresh water lakes?
