It doesn't look like the tank would be very stable. That would be my main concern. I dive the DSS rig, so I'm fine without an STA. I'd make sure that the wing has some sort of tank stabilizer or I'd use an STA. Don't want the tank wobbling around.

My thoughts exactly so I emailed them and they said that there is a stabilizer at the bottom of the tank for the tank to lay into. I couldn't see it on any of the photos. I'm thinking about ordering it and trying it out. I was also told that they will make holes for a doubles rig too. If they make holes for a doubles rig then it seems I could mount a STA on it too.

I just thought it looked pretty cool. Might make a good conversation piece if nothing else.

From what I could gather from TDS and the website it was designed by spearfishers for spearfishing. I don't know.

On second thought now I'm thinking of just putting that $100 or so to my Weezle Extreme + fund. At least I KNOW what I'm getting with a Weezle.

Or you could just send it to me, Jeremy. I'd gladly find a way to spend your extra cash! :D

As a happy Weezle Extreme+ owner I can say your money would be going to better use. The Freedom Plate looks cool but..... so what? This one looks cool too: http://www.criticalaspect.com
