Freediving Courses in Utah

Good news - FII Level I courses are now being taught in Utah!

Dive Addicts has an exclusive agreement with the Crater to allow us to train FII Freedivers. Come learn the exciting sport of freediving and receive the education you need to safely have a 3 min breath hold and dive to depths up to 66 fsw (20 meters)! It may sound unattainable, but in a day and half we can get you there. Whether you want to spear the fish, swim with them or just enjoy the peaceful sport of freediving - we can train you to do it safely and improve your performance.

The nice thing is that all you need for the class is mask, snorkel, fins & a wetsuit. Freediving specific gear is recommended, but not required and we have some demo gear for you to try during the course.

Josh & Michael Thornton are FII instructors and have several courses scheduled.

Course is $335 for tuition, books, reg fees etc. The only additional cost would be the $25 entry fee to the Crater.

If anyone has a group of 4 or more divers, we can do a custom schedule and even location if desired.
