The session on Saturday is the classroom component of Padi discover tec. The second half is a pool session at a later date. Discover tec is normally to see if divers are interested in taking future technical diving courses. There is no cost to the session. You do not need to bring any equipment unless you already own a plate and wing bcd.
The classroom component consists of going over a few questions of the tec 40 knowledge reviews, the tec 40 practical application 1 involving equipment setup and assembly of the primary tanks and a decompression cylinder, and some technical diving basic skills.
Both the classroom session and the pool session are creditable towards tec 40 should the diver choose to take that course.
The session will be 3-4 hours starting at 1 pm on Saturday.
