To introduce our new dive boat to the region there will be two FREE days of diving the Chesapeake Bay offered aboard the Retriever in April. A total of 12 people (6 per trip) will have the opportunity to do two tank dives These are presently planned for the 17th and 24th of April. Dates are subject to change.
We are estblishing a list of interested people for these dives. The first twelve who sign up will have first option to go and if someone can not make their date, we will open it up to the next person on the list.
You must have at least an advanced diver rating. While the Chesapeake Bay areas we will be diving are shallow, you may encounter strong currents, low/limited visability and potentially hazardous marine life, entanglement hazards and high boat traffic.
Each diver must have proper safety equipment including a cutting implement, safety sausage, audbile device, surface marker/float, dive light and back up light. All participants will be required to sign a standard liability waiver and release.
The dives will likely include a treasure hunting dive at either Hartmiller or Pleasure Island and an investigative dive of a charted area of interest. Garrett Sea Hunter Metal Detectors can be rented for $60 for the day.
To be placed on the list you must visit Off the Wall Scuba to sign up. Calls and emails will not be accepted as you must present your advanced diver credentials at time of sign-up.
Thanks for your interest in diving with us
