Over the past couple years, I've made several attempts to find the owner of a Mares Quattro fin that I found on Cape Ann, MA.
It's blue, size Regular, and in like-new condition.
I notified the local police and local dive shops.
I put it out on eBay at a high price to avoid sale but possibly notify the owner.
I posted to usenet.
Now, since I've found this wonderful ScubaBoard, I'm sure the owner will finally be flushed out!
Then, the owner can review their logbook and contact me with the date and location where it was lost.
It will then be theirs again!
However, (deep, sinister voice)...
If no owner turns up within a couple weeks, I'll try to sell this solitary fin or buy an identical orphan to create a pair for myself. Figure around $30.
So, let me know if you are the original owner or if you have one to sell or would like to buy this orphan after a couple weeks (later this month).
