My son in law wants to get certified. Can anyone recomend a good dive shop for a basic OW course around Fort Worth?

Surface Interval Scuba and Lone Star Scuba are 2 shops I can recommend. I got certified @ Scubatoys back in 2001, and I've survived so I suppose I can recommend them as well!

I would recomend surface interval as well I have done a few classes with them and have been very happy

If he is around the west side of town, I would recommend Scuba Sphere. Robbie is one of the best instructors I've talked with.

I am an instructor at We B Divin in North Richland Hills. We have good instructors on staff along with an indoor heated training pool onsite. Stop by and visit the shop. I'm teaching a class this weekend and will be at the shop on Saturday which will be open from 10a-4p. The shop is located at 8451 Boulevard 26, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180, 817-605-8833

Burleson Scuba is an awesome dive shop. SSI and they have classes all the time. Very knowledgeable and patient divemasters too.
