The only thing left of the jeep is the frame now. To find the gold cart, go to the jeep frame and then go up to a depth of 25 feet. Go due East and you will run right into it.

I would love to get out and map Ft. Pickens. I just need a couple of interested people. I will be free to get out and dive on a regular basis in just a couple more weeks.

From reading recent Ft. Pickens posts it sounds like most are not going out to the pipe/culvert and then out to the drum or over to the fishing pyramid and debris behind it. Things aren't covered up are they?

The conditions have just recently got good enough to go out that deep, everyone has been sticking close to the rocks because of vis/current...

Pipe/Culvert: Is that the 2 pipes next to each other (one cut in half)? I've been calling that the bobsled since the one pipe looks like one :)

I'm not sure I know what the fishing pyramid is?

When you go out to the pipe/culvert go to the West side of the culvert pipe. Turn left (West) and swim about eight full kicks and you will run into the pyramid. The pyramid is an actual concrete fishing pyramid. From there you can follow the rubble that tracks out to the Northwest.

I am almost done with the promotional exams at work. I ended up #1 on the test, but I have two more phases to go. I have had to put diving on hold in an effort to study extremely hard and get promoted. Once it is over (for better or for worse) I am going to get back into the water every chance I get.
