The weather isn't looking so good Sunday. Will that affect the viz on the shore dives? Someone local chime in?

What say all of you (Thanks Paulwall. :p) for a trip to Morrison's? I can do that since the wife knows I'll be gone all day. We can still head to Hooters afterwards.

Michael

I, personally, have no interest in going fresh water on Sunday. Y'all have fun.

Paul.

I too would rather shore dive. It's close and cheaper for me. I'm just saying if the conditions don't allow for shore dives, I have no problem heading to Morrisons.

I wonder what Destin looks like. I We could drive there. :)

A trip to Morrisons requires food from Sally's. Its in the rule book. You can go to Hooters anyday you are in Gulf Shores.

It's my day, I'll do what I want!!!

Although, Sally's was GREAT the last time Frank and I went through there. :)

Clay,

Is that a picture (avatar) of the tree at Morrison's through the cavern entrance?

Michael

Nope, not a Morrison picture.

Water looked great yesterday in Gulf Shores.

We'll be diving Morrison and Cypress on Saturday, coming back local on Sunday. If I'm not volunteered by the girlfriend to goto church, I'll be interested in a Sunday early morning shore dive(maybe two and lunch?), otherwise I'm out on this go-around. :/

Ok, good.

Sunday: I'm looking to get up around 6 am and head to my first dive site. Which one? Not sure. :)

Let's get a list of the sites (SBM help?) in the OB/GS/fM area and see what times are the best to start the day.

Michael

The ones I'd show you, Alabama Point, Gulf State Pier, and the Whiskey Wreck. High Tides are in the 1-2AM range, so you'd have to dive the Point at Low Tide, icky. Won't matter much on the other two sites.
