For years I've been passing through Fort Lauderdale on my way to the Upper Keys. Lately, I've sorta gotten tired of the drive to Largo and beyond and have been looking at some diving around Lauderdale. I'd like to find a place to stay really near a dive operator so's I won't need transportation and I only need to take a cab from the airport to and from the hotel or motel. I'm not too picky as far as the star rating of lodging so long as it's fairly clean, air conditioned, near a reteraunt and the bugs and vermin aren't larger than me. Not too interested in a cattle boat operation either. I usually stay around three days. How about it folks, any recommendations?
