Forgot the dust cap

I inadvertently rinsed my regulator without the dusk cap in place. What should I do?

Where you diving salt or fresh water? Was it dunked or soaked?

Take your hoses off, attach reg to tank and blow it out. Re attach hoses and blow them out purging seconds and inflator hose and unscrew spg and look in there if you want.

Develop a relationship with a dive shop.

I inadvertently rinsed my regulator without the dusk cap in place. What should I do?

Fresh water? Just connect it to a tank and give it a good blast out. Everything inside is brass, chrome plated brass, plastic or rubber based.
