I'll see if I can make it. I hope that my workload lets up by then.

And people? I am a pretty non-political person when it comes to diving. I like to see neat stuff and meet new people. One thing that drives me nuts (having seen it in NC and even on our beloved fresh water bodies of water up here :11: ) is shop/charter politics getting in the way of a good dive or dive event. Let's try to have fun here and not worry about the political sniping. That is what the GLWC is for, IMHO. That is to get the divers that want to talk about diving that they do without the local politics getting in the way.

My hunch is that one of the reasons this show came about was to move away from the politics and appeal to a broader audience. Apparently the sour grapes are trying to tail along anyway... my advice is to ignore it by attending and enjoying what the show has to offer. If those shouting barbs had something to offer in the way of alternatives, they would have.

Enjoy... I plan to and it's on my calendar for next March 2006!

I am planning on it, but as I said, it is the in the hands of my employer. I just wanted my points out there.

Please make a note of the change of date of the North American Shipwreck and Dive Show to March 18, 2006. We have moved it one week later in order to not have a conflict with another regional show.

We hope to see you there!
