Now I'm even more glad that I am not an octo!!

Not all octo species or individuals within a species die after mating based on what I remember from what I've read. Some will survive into another breeding season, at least down here. Of course ours are not GPOs.
 
For those of you who have access to Evening Magazine (KING 5), Laurynn (seaingreen) will be interviewed tonight, with footage of her video showing the GPO hatching. Show's on at 7 PM ...
