What are you going to do get a search warrant to check my freezer ?
The few on this thread who brag about violating regulations are the entire reason the rest of the decent folks have to live and dive and harvest by all of these regulations. Sad. Truly sad the selfishness of some people in our society are. Sorry for the good people who live in California, but to the rest of us we all look at Kalifornia and how over-regulated you are, but it's the few selfish, narcissistic like those posting here that probably have caused you to be.
You keep voting the same liberal demarcates into office who make these " over-regulated " laws.
Why don't you run for office and change things ? It was F&G who denied divers from going to the outer islands.
Instead of giving lip service here on the board, yeah run for office.
Move to Coloradao? Why?Actually all 'we' wish here, is for you people to stay 'there' and stop moving 'here', but you won't stop doing it.
Hey, everyone remember that hundred year-or-so period where people could take abalone south of San Francisco Bay? Or remember that people used to be able to find intertidal abalone in southern California? And then abused the crap out of that? People are really, really bad at collectively self-regulating.
I remember when there was a "Gentlemen's Agreement" not to take abalone around Palos Verdes in the 70s and 80s. See how well that worked? So many people feel that their small contribution to the depletion of game doesn't matter but it adds up quickly.
