Originally, I didn't think I'd be able to dive tomorrow, but now I'm able to go.

So, I'm heading up with some friends to dive Folly Cove tomorrow morning around 8:00. If anyone else is there, please come say hello.

I'm aware that we're supposed to drop our gear at the beach and then go park somewhere else and walk back to the beach. I just don't know where to go and park.

Suggestions?

If I pull out of the beach area, should I pull out going left or right, and where do I go from there?

Thank you.

Michael

Mike i'll be up there around 8:00 8:30 as well. Not sure where the parking is exactly so hopefully someone replies.

See you up there....hopefully the weather cooperates!

if you are standing in the little dirt parking lot
with the cove to your back ... park down the road to your left

about 200 yeards from the cove there is a sharp turn
you can park on the turn .. but not in the big parking lot...
or you can park in the dirt parking lot and pay the 15$ ticket

its up to you :)

With the cove to your back, you can also park down to the right. About 300 yards down, there is a left turn. You can park on this street.....but as we found out recently it is smart to have all cars parked on one side of the street....

1) Folly Cove
Directions: Starting from the store, take a right at top of parking lot onto Rt. 127. Stay on 127 approx. 6.1 miles, eventually you'll see 2 restaurants one on the water one on the road. Folly is the next cove on the right.
Parking: Resident only. Halibut Pt. is only a short walk away.
Description: Rocky entry, sheer wall on left, lots of overhangs. Excellent dive.
Depth: 15' - 60'
Exposure: North East
Feature: Everything you could want in a New England dive. Dive @ high tide & calm sea.

Halibut Point has paid parking. Have a great dive.
