I'll be there in 2 weeks, looking forward to seeing it for the first time. I'll be in steel doubles. Don't think I want to mess with Cathedral in Turbo soles.

I'd like to see Halibut Point, is the hike very far?

I'm thinking of a night dive from Front Beach and around the point to Back Beach. Or should I go to Folly for a night dive?

Day dive Saturday 5/22: Plum Cove

Day dive Sunday 5/23: Pebble Beach

What do you think of those choices?

Cat Rocks in doubles is retarded (yes, I know some who have tried). Halibut Point and Norman's Woe are serious hikes. I wouldn't bother in doubles. I think we managed to get them in at almost every other popular Cape Ann site, though.

Personally, I'd hit Folly (day or night) for sure. Front to Back is a really nice dive (night is great). Plum is ok. I can't find anything redeemable about Pebble. Lots of people go there, but I just don't get it. It's a lame site.

I'd recommend Loblolly (day time) and/or Old Garden Beach (day or night). Either site is fine with doubles.

Have fun!
