I just don't log dives
We had a great trip to the Flower Gardens this past weekend on the Fling. We had excellent diving conditions on Saturday with just about 2-3 foot waves, very little current and good visibility ( about 60-70 feet) . We saw 2 Hammerheads with at least a couple of our guys getting a "to close for comfort" encounter with a hammerhead and when they looked back at each other a Barracuda was parked in between them. One could almost imagine the barracuda saying " nobody here but us scuba divers" as the shark eased on by. I did 5 dives on Saturday and saw a variety of fish and marine life. Lots of barracuda, spotted and green moray eels, porcupine fish, caravelle jack, and the usual suspects. The Spree reported encounters with 3 Mantas, and 7 Hammerheads. Saturday night was a rough transition to Stetson bank but it clamed down once we got in range. We were greeted with only about 2 foot waves but poor visibility in the 20 foot range. Everyone opted out of the final dive and we headed back. The food was great and the crew were accommodating and funny. A lot of hardwork goes into these boats and it shows. I had a great time and can't wait for the next trip!

Debraw sounds like a nice trip. Will have to keep that trip in mind for future diving plans. Thanks for the dive report.
