FYI; I found out from Mike Tyzbir (shop owner of Blue Dolphin Scuba in Frisco) that the FG trips got canceled this weekend due to weather. One of the first in a while. Which was unfortunate since this weekend is real close to the coral spawning.

Just wanted to post an update about the trip out to the Flower Gardens this past weekend.

The seas could not have been any more calm. If there were any waves, they could not have been much more than 1 foot anywhere we were located and the currents were almost non-existent even at Stetson Bank.

I spotted 7-8 sharks throughout the weekend but the most coveted visual desire, the whale shark, did not make an appearance.

Still, it was a great trip!
