If the rooms are available, most will let you check in or will provide a place for you to store your luggage, until it is ready. I can only speak from what we do, which is provide transport like BD does, get you into your room, your breakfast is there, then your vehicle is delivered around 8:00 am. You then do the dive briefing and orientation dive and then dive!

What we recommend for our guests, and it works well....take care of your dive stuff in the am and enjoy your checkout dive (this is just to make you comfortable with your bouyancy, but hey enjoy it it's a dive! Then if you are feeling really tired, go back to your room, take a 2 hour nap. You will feel better...do an afternoon dive, then eat dinner and sleep. You will feel great the next morning and not feel like you are trying to recoup for the previous day's flight.
