Try Dolpin Dive center in Arcadia. Tim Omeara is the owner and one of the instructors. They can usually be very flexible with the schedule, as they typically have students at various stages of instruction at any given time. 626-447-5536.

I'll second this recomendation. They are indeed flexible and very competent.
