Unfortunately, the UWL28 does not work with the Olympus XZ-1. (Neither does its predecessor, the UWL30).
The Inon UWL H100 type 1 works very well for the XZ-1 in the Olympus PT-050 housing. For very wide angle, add the Inon Dome Unit II to the UWL-H100.
There are shots for the XZ-1 "bare", with the UWL-H100, and with UWL-H100 & Dome Unit II about mid-way down this article comparing compact cameras.
