All of this fits nicely into my Dryfob XL, AF signal Mirror, Whistle, 15ft of paracord and ACR / PLB RescueLink 400. For tropical diving, the DryFob goes into the starboard rear trim pocket of my BC (yes it zips closed) and I keep a full pint of fresh water on the port side.

For cold water (drysuit) diving I use the Large HOG utility pocket to store the Dryfob on the port side of the top cam strap.

The whistle should be replaced with a Storm Whistle.

Why would you put a plastic whistle in a dry fob?

I wear mine on my BC, and my mirror hangs from my neck and is tucked into my suit.

I wear mine on my BCD, connected to a retractable lanyard. My mirror in in my BCD pocket.

How does water warp plastic? You do know what water bottles are made from. Right?
Plastic absorbs water, that absorption leads to the shape of the plastic changing, aka warping.

The other issue is mirrors are a laminate. The water degrades the lamination.

My mirror is the same signal mirror that was issued to me in the USAF. It's tempered / laminated glass with a targeted red dot bullseye locator. I've carried it in my BC pocket for 30 years with no issues other than some very minor scratches.

As far as the whistle goes, I keep it in my emergency kit (Dryfob) in case I ever end up adrift and completely out of gas. I also have a Dive Alert integrated onto my LP inflator hose and I'm pretty sure that it's way louder than any manual whistle.

I don't think the Storm whistle will fit into the Dryfob with the mirror and PLB......but based on the advice from DD, I just bought one that'll be here tomorrow and I'll see if it can fit.

If it doesn't fit then I'll attach it to my Class V PFD that I always wear when out on my boat.
