Looks like we're coming back in May for a week with my shop. So time will be limited.
 
glad you'll at least get to make your annual trek over here though. Perhaps housing will be a bit more affordable by then too.
 
It's cooled way off. To be honest we've started looking at Florida as a backup. We need to get the heck out of this cold weather. Hurricanes are better than Oregon.
 
My husband and I have talked many times about the need to get outta the Pacific Northwest (we live in Vancouver, WA) and move somewhere warmer. Unfortunately, he's entrenched in his job and with the fact that he can retire with full benefits in 10 years (at 50), it makes more sense to stay where we are. So for now we suck it up and take at least 2 wonderful tropical vacations a year. We'll be outta here on the Nekton Pilot in Belize in less than 3 weeks, then back to Maui for a short 6 days in April. For now, it'll have to do. <sigh>
