Well I finally cooked my first trimix. I admitadely have been procrastinating all winter but with a tec lite dive loooming this sunday I had to get moving. The original plan was to run the he through the mixing stick using one o2 annyliser, but after talking to my mentor I opted for partial pressure fill on the he and top off with nitrox. I was able to put together a transfill whip locally with needle valve and two gauges for around 100 bucks. First attempt to come up with a 25/20 triox mix netted 25.3/20 and 25.5/20. I am happy with that first result and a little tweaking should yield a leaner o2 content than the target, or more on the money.
