I stopped by Morrison last fall to check it out even though it was blown out......there wasn't a single person there.
Fast forward to last weekend: the place was packed to the gills. I found a parking spot and geared up but had to find another diver to help me with my semi dry(pain in the butt to get zipped) it was after 3:30 by the time I made it to the water and I haven't sweated that much in a long time!
The 15ft vis was expected so I made my way past the swim platform and dropped down. I just made my way around the basin saw a few Sunfish and small bass. Mainly I was concerned about working on my trim and bouyancy. There were a few other divers but not many in the water at one time. I made my way down to the entrance of the cave a stuck my head in the flow and made my reg free flow a little
not long after that I watched two divers go into the cave but did not run a line so I'm sure they weren't cavers.
I did poke my head into the "cavern" to the right of the main cave entrance all I could see were eel heads and it looked like a dead end from what I could see without going in.
I surfaced and dumped some air to drop my cylinder to 500psi to do a weight check and headed home.
The locals were intresting that's all i'm going to say!
