Hi all,:)

I'm intending to get a dive computer soon as I heard so many nice things about them and all that also more importantly, I'm plain LazY. :goofy:

So i was wondering if anyone here has some good recommendations about good dive computers that they are using or have used before.

Please note, i want actual experience with the computer and, how good it is? Not thoses cheesy advertisments I have seen. If you have used two or more in your time comparisons would be wonderful!

I am currently looking at computers from Uwatec and Suunto, but other models will be considered after your recommendations. Oh, I'm just a rec diver with not much conviction to use Nitrox in the future. Hoseless or not,... does not matter as long it's good. As long as i dun end up like this..... :drown:

Thanks a lot in advance.

I have an Aeris Atmos 300G for 2 years now and am very happy with it. It is very easy to read and use, which in my opinion is the #1 criterium for a dive computer. It is Nitrox capable, just in case...

One very useful feature is the integration with the backlight in the SPG: with the push of one button you have light in your computer and your SPG. I truly appreciate this feature on every night and dark water dive.

There are many new models on the market these days, but I can definitely recommend the 300G.
