I'm considering my first CCR whether is it BM or CM (choptima). My question is the scrubber size I see the choptima is 2.2kg and some BM units have bigger size. Does size matters? I can imagine it's related to the duration. What else? Tks

Duration of sorb depends on many parameters including water temperature, your physiology, your stress level, density of the diluent. In warm water (28 C) with relaxed diving, I typically use the 2.2kg scrubber for 5-6h so not a limiting factor as I have not had the opportunity for longer dives.
