Are Mares Avanti Quattro Fins acceptable for cave diving?
I'm asking this because from what I have heard most people use some kind of Jet Fin style. However I just watched a video of Steve Bogaerts doing skills in Side-mount and he is using Mares Avanti Quattros. I love those fins, but I was always under the impression that the jet fins and variations are the fins of choice for cave diving. Having said that I can do all the fin kicks in my avanti quattros, including backwards kicks and helicopter turns and they are rigid and non-split (mine are even black
