Not that it applies too often in Cayman, but I use open heel Twin Jet Max fins 75% of the time unless I'm doing wreck penetration or diving in a cave/cavern where you don't want silt kicked up. I find the whale-tail design of many open-heel fins give you fantastic power and are easy of the legs but do have a lot of turbulence. I use my closed-heels when I will be doing more frog-kicks in close environments and want to reduce silt disturbance.

I am happy with my Mares Quattro full-foot fins. The only fins with more power would be free-diving fins, which some people like to use here. The ability to generate a lot of power when needed gives you a nice safety margin in relation to currents.

I have the same.
