Congrats Tammy. Enjoy and be safe!!!

Congratulations! Now comes the fun of figuring out how to get to cave country regularly with good buddies! (That's my problem, at least.)

Congrats!

Well done, iam planning to start mine next week, can you give me any pointers? what were the hardest things? did it take so long because you were busy doing other things as well? did you ever think that you couldnt physically do it? thanks.

Well, I'll probably be doing some diving with dive buddy with whom I've dove in OW many times. He's a great mentor & loves mentoring & a very good cave diver. He's newly retired & I have 1- 2 weeks off every 5 weeks, so hopefully we can make several trips this winter & such. There's also the guys who've been going through the class with me & others at my LDS.

Biggest thing (for me at least),.... take that little extra moment to sort things out. By not taking time to really sort out what was going on, really is what slowed me up & was hardest for me. You must be on top of every thing, what's going on, where everyone in your team is & where you are at all times. I was blessed that my instructor made the training as difficult as safely could be done. He made us do lights out air share drills through the Lips at Ginnie (actually we did lights out air share drills on most every dive), would throw in false jump lines to see if we would get confused & follow them, try to lead us off line, make some simple entanglements that we would have to work through & solve. Just stuff like that. It is physically demanding, but if you are in reasonable condition, you should be able to handle it.

I'm looking forward to Full Cave in the spring now more than ever. Congrats!

Made my first dive as a cave dive today at Little River. No drills or anything, just enjoyment. Overall a good dive, however, the 2 other guys in the class buddied up together, so I buddied up with my instructor. I have to admit, I kept waiting for him to throw something at me. He never did, nor even intended to, but that feeling was still there. I sat out the second dive today to just rest & chill out today. Tomorrow planning to do 1- 2 more dives & then home on Sun.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats & also for those who gave me support & ideas to help me along.
