Well last Sunday, in a small quarry about an hour away from St.Louis, yours truly took the plunge in 53 degree water (COLD! Especially while not wearing gloves) to finally get his CESA done. I was so happy when I came up next to my instructor, and he told me that I got it. I'm now holding on to my temporary card until I get my real one.

And I'm also going diving next weekend for my advanced O/W dives, which I'm really looking forward to. We're doing Search and Recovery, Boat diving, Night Diving, Deep diving, and under water navigation. I just hope that I don't have trouble with the deep dive, because I have sinus trouble. All I can do, is take my Claratin, and spray some of that "sinus" relief stuff in my nose and hope for the best.

Thanks for your time!
Les

Congrats on finishing your O/W. But what is the rush? Don't you want to get used to your equipment, practice your skills, and get a better feel of the water before dropping down to 100 feet and complete the puzzle?

Congrats!

Congrats, I remember my open water course. I was in love and still am, Good luck with your hobby.
