Finally going back to Coz.......couple of questions.

It's been about eight years since I've been to Coz and I'm finally going back (sort of) next week. We're staying in Playa del Carmen and I'm ferrying over 2 days to dive with Chucho. We'll also take a day, rent a jeep, and I'll show the GF the island.
With that in mind I have a couple of questions.....
What's the best place for luch on the the other side?
Is La Co Cay still the best restaurant on the island?
Taking the GF snorkling, what's the best spot? Dzul Ha?
Is the Ernesto's south of town still there?
Anything else a must?

Well, if you're going to do 2 days on Coz, I'd book a room for one night, even tho you will leave much of your stuff in a paid PDC room. Extra round trip ferry for two is about the same as a nice, economy hotel and you enjoy the island more.

Renting a car comes with a few cautions: Take full insurance, do not trust your trip or credit card insurance, and learn about Mexican driving laws. Left turns are different as are entering side roads. Isis is often recommend on Coz, altho I never rent one there so can't say much.
