i can't hold back any longer. i was gonna wait til i got my official card in the mail but nope.....i can't do it. i finally was able to complete my TDI cavern certification that i started working towards last year. it has been a long while in coming but it was well worth the wait. it is amazingly satisfying to have worked through some major failures to come back and overcome them. for a guy that a number of years ago could not get 10 feet under the open water without having a panic attack, this is a major accomplishment. and i am not ashamed to say.....i am damn proud of myself.

i would never have stuck it out without the love and support of my partner in life who is always there for me 100% and gives me a swift kick in the ass when i need it. thx babe. she knows who she is

and of course i really need to once again thank Frank from BlueLife for having the patience to put up with me and for being so supportive. you are truly an inspiration that i draw from. thank you so much for everything !!! signed: your friend rick (the drama queen - lol)

We are signed up for Cavern with Jim Wyatt in 3 weeks with my better half and our dive buddy!! I can't wait to start cave courses next year.

In terms of really fine-tuning my dive skills, cavern was the most rewarding course I've taken thus far. While I will never pursue overhead training further, I am a better diver today because of it.
