Filling whips, ok or replace?

I have a Bauer Jr II from 2016. I bought it second hand about 5 years ago but at the time it had maybe 50hrs on it. I had it serviced 3 years ago but basically stored it away someplace dark and dry. I am now getting ready to start using it in anger. It has two filling whips and a spare. All three are visually still pristine, no cracks, no scuffs, still shiny. All with their 2016 tag attached.

Any risk to using these I use or should I think about replacing them? Can they be checked in some way?

The only check is to use them. I'd use them....

Maybe spray some "snoop" on the crimps, but I'd doubt you have a problem.

I'm certain that the ones on my fill panel are quite a bit older than that and they're doing fine. Aside from doing a visual check of the outside and a soapy water leak check like Bob mentions above, you might consider blowing some air thru them when not connected to anything just to make sure the inside hasn't broken down at all - it would suck to have something clog the bleed valve and be unable to relive pressure to unhook from the cylinder.

If you can pressurize them first while not connected to an "open" cylinder, if something does let loose catastrophically at least the whipping action will be minimal since you only have the volume of gas in the hose to power the wild ride.
