Figured I'd update the thread. Went with getting the equalizer hose from scubatoys. Thanks for the link and mentioning the discount, picked up a few other things.
Getting the one without a pressure gauge. I can always add the gauge if need be (they were backordered). Not too worried about having the gauge. Give some of the math that I was able to research-
Equalizing an empty 6cu off an 80cu @3000 psi would yealed each tank being equalized at right around 2790psi.
Good decision. When you get to the point that you want to know how much gas is in a tank before you bother to hook up a regulator to it, you will want a separate pressure gauge anyway.
Not really. If he had purchased a gage on the equalizer hose, then you just open and close each tank valve and read the pressure of each tank from the hose gage. A gage on the equalizer whip is very useful.
